Tilting at mills : The 5th International Colloquium on the Archaeology and Geology of Mills and Milling

5ème colloque sur le thème des meules et des moulins, 
Alméria, Espagne, du 5 au 8 mars 2014

 

We would like to bring to your attention that the 5th colloquium on mills and milling (after La Ferté-sous-Jouarre, Grenoble, Rome and Bergen) will take place next year in Almería, Spain (March 5-8, 2014).

Tilting at mills : The 5th International Colloquium on the Archaeology and Geology of Mills and Milling

The colloquium will begin with a keynote speech (wednesday evening) followed by two days of presentations. An excursion to the prehistoric settlement of Los Millares and to roman quern quarries in the volcanic district of Cabo de Gata is planned for the last day (saturday). Nous tenons à annoncer que le 5ème colloque sur le thème de meules et moulins (après ceux de La Ferté-sous-Jouarre, Grenoble, Rome et Bergen) se tiendra l’année prochaine à Alméria, Espagne (du 5 au 8 Mars, 2014) sous le titre de :

Après le discours d’ouverture (mercredi soir), il y aura deux jours de présentations, suivies d’une excursion le samedi au gisement préhistorique de Los Millares et aux carrières des meules manuelles romaines dans la région volcanique de Cabo de Gata. El coloquio se iniciará con un discurso de apertura (la noche del miércoles) y será seguido por dos días de presentaciones. Una excursión al asentamiento prehistórico de Los Millares y a las canteras romanas de molinos manuales en el distrito volcánico de Cabo de Gata, está prevista para el último día (sábado).
